The story

Everything started in 2005, when some researchers from the CIRAD ( ….), a french governmental body involved in agronomical research programs, came with the following problem to solve :

They have developped a new process with a gas to be injected into the trunk of the hevea tree, in order to improve the latex production.
And for this process, they needed a small device able to inject continuously a constant flow (of only few ml/h) of the gas for more than 9 months. And the chalenging part was that the device should be autonomous, deployed on each tree, with a final cost of less than 1 dollar.

After few months of thinking, Jean-Luc Mussot came with the solution, which looked very simple, and with great potentials regarding the feasability and costs.
After checking, it was possible to apply for a patent for this idea.

And this was the beginning of Ad-Venta.
